CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00
Report from Eldey: This morning seas were calm and the sun was shining but a northern breeze made our trip at sea quite chilly. After searching around for a while we were rewarded with a sleepy humpback whale. This individual stayed close to the surface very often so we could see it´s big pectoral fins shine clearly through the water. After a bit of time we decided to give it its well-deserved rest and moved onwards. We then encountered a second humpback whale, who went on short dives so we had some nice looks at its beautiful fluke coming out of the water. Satisfied with the morning we then sailed back to a sunny Reykjavik, with a hot coffee warming us up.

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 1300
Report from Eldey: This afternoon we sailed out into a beautiful blue ocean. The weather was great today, with little wind from the north. The visibility was very good with almost no clouds on the horizon, so we had a very clear view of the snowy mountains on the distance. We had to be a little bit patient but we finally found the reason why we were all here, a whale. We found a beautiful humpback whale, which was most likely feeding under the surface. However we could see its white pectoral fins from above the surface, so we could know where was the next place it was going to resurface. After saying goodbye, we returned slowly to port enjoying the view.

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 17:00
Report from Eldey: We set sail with plenty of sunshine, clear skies, and a very brisk wind on our face! We went far into the bay and suddenly a blow at 12 o'clock! One humpback whale! With many surfaces and multiple fluke dives we got great views of our humpback! We were even lucky enough to hear the blow! We then witnessed one pod of white-beaked dolphins! They gave us a great display with countless jumps and breaches! It seemed like we were successful in finding the buffet today that we even had the chance to admire some seabirds feeding in the area as well. Another great tour!
