CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00
Report from Eldey: This morning we were greeted with glorious sunshine ansd extremely calm seas. The wind was coming from the west which meant on the way out we did have to face the wind a bit but on the way back we got to sail with the wind - making it feel like a summers day. We did have to sail quite far out but as we did we spotted a small pod of 4 white beaked dolphins. This pod was quite calm and popped up a few times and eventually made its move onwards. We then did the same and after a bit of sailing found a humpback whale. This was a very relaxed whale and stayed with us for the rest of the tour. It was a bit fluke shy but we did end up seeing its fluke a few times! We did sadly run out of time and had to head back to harbour. Sailing back with the sun now and working on our tan.

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 13:00
Report from Eldey: This afternoon we were greeted with sunshine, calm seas, and a nice refreshing breeze! We headed straight out into the bay and it was so clear that we were treated with a view of Snæfellsnes! Further into the bay we suddenly saw the blow from a humpback whale! Shortly after we saw its beautiful fluke! Luckily it did not keep us waiting too long and it did many surfaces and we saw its fluke four times!!!! What a great display! It then popped out on the front of the boat, giving us a great look of it and even hear the blow! We then made our way back to the harbor and enjoyed the birdlife and the sun along the way.
