NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Eldey: It was a cold blustery night but we finally had northern lights. As soon as we left the harbour walls and into the darkness a strange cloud formation could be seem. With my trusty camera I took a picture and low and behold the picture showed a green streak across the sky. To the naked eye it was very hard to differentiate between the aurora and clouds but the green hue got stronger and a huge arc could be seen. A few aurora wisps over head were also visible throughout the evening. After a while the northern lights faded back into the clouds (still visible by camera however) but the moon, stars and planet Jupiter stayed bright. We finally got to see the northern lights after 4 days of cancellations due to weather and a few tours with no sightings. We were very happy people.
