CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 0900
Report from Eldey: We sailed out on a beautiful and sunny day. After a while we had a pod of 8 white-beaked dolphins where one was a calf. They were feeding and jumping out of he water, as well as getting up fairly close to the boat. A little while later, we had a humpback whale accompanied by 2 dolphins. The dolphins left the humpback quite quickly, but the humpback carried on feeding, putting on a show with many fluke dives. After a lovely day at sea we headed back to the harbour.

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 13:00
Report from Eldey: This afternoon we once again set sail towards the feeding ground in sunny Faxaflói and were met with one minke whale along the way! This minke was quite shy, however, and did not stop for long and only a few minutes after we had first seen it, it had vanished. We continued on our journey for a while before spotting another minke whale, and this one decided to stay a while! We watched this one surface multiple times before we heard a rumour of another whale a bit further away, and low and behold, there it was, a humpback whale! This whale was the same individual we had been watching in the morning and it gave us a nice fluke dive before we had to return back to harbour.
