In June and July we have been operating our Midnight Sun Whale Watching tours at 20:30, but as the summer is soon coming to an end, the sun will go down faster by the day and so we have moved the 20:30 tours in August to 19:00!

We are very excited to announce an additional departure time for our whale watching tours in winter. In addition to our 13:00 tour in February and November, we will now also be sailing at 09:00 in the mornings!
We therefore have guaranteed departures daily at 09:00 from 1 February - 30 November (subject to weather of course) as well as the 13:00 tour being available all year. As

Join us on a magical Midnight Sun Whale Watch! Now on schedule at 20:30 (8.30PM) every evening from 15 June - 31 July and at 19:00 (7PM) from 1 - 31 August.
The 3 hour tour takes you into Faxaflói bay in search for it's incredible nature and wildlife. Watching the whales in the ocean surface just as the sun hits the horizon is truly an incredible sight!

We have all been waiting for this day, our first whale watching tour in Akureyri. The weather was definitely in our favour and so was the wildlife! 4 humpback whales, 1 minke whale and 2 pods of harbour porpoises were seen on the tour! After such an amazing start we can only look forward to our future adventures.

The puffins came a bit earlier than ususal this year, but now the season has officially started! From 15 May - 15 August we will be operating Puffin tours from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík everyday on Elding II at 9.30, 12:00 and 15:00 and RIB boats at 9:30 and 14:30!

Tonight should be the last day of operation for the Northern Lights Cruise, however unfortunately as the weather is not in our favour the tour will not be running, sadly..
Although we had a few tours with no sightings this winter, we are overall very happy with the tours we ran and glad we had lots of fantastic aurora sightings with great people.

How exciting - a Puffin has been spotted on our whale watching tour!
Soon more and more pairs will travel back to Iceland and settle on one of three islands located just off Reykjavík. The Puffin season usually starts in mid May, so the puffins are a little earlier this year than we can expect. We look forward to seeing more of them flying about on future tours!

Now although 21 April is officially the first day of summer this year, 1 April is the first day of our summer whale watching season!
We start with two tours per day in April at 9:00 and 13:00, adding another one at 17:00 in May and will gradually increase our departures throughout the summer with up to six tours per day in June, July and August!

On Saturday 19 March 2016 our annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Viðey island in collaboration with Viðeyjarstofa, Reykjavík City Museum, Nói Síríus and Góa chocolate factories.
First ferry departs from Skarfabakki pier at 13:15 and the hunt will start from Viðeyjarstofa Café at 13:30 so make sure to arrive early!

Today, 16 March at 13:00 we have spotted some Orcas! We certainly hop this means that the herring has come into the bay, which hopefully brings in more wildlife!

From today 1 March, we will start operating whale watching tours twice a day, at 9:00 and 13:00.
