We are excited to announce that our research team has acquired a hydrophone as part of our continued commitment to marine conservation. These specialised underwater microphones will allow us to listen in on the fascinating world beneath the waves capturing real-time audio from whales, dolphins, and other marine life in their natural habitat.
The hydrophones will play a vital role in our ongoing research efforts. We aim to collect acoustic data that will support studies on whale behaviour, communication, as well as the impacts of underwater noise pollution.
We have already started testing the hydrophone with great results, just in time for the height of the whale watching season. Stay tuned for updates and listen with us as we dive deeper into the sounds of the sea.
